Abdul-Jaleel has worked in the banking industry for over 15 years. He was the Head of Commercial Clients and Ag. Head of Agribusiness for Stanbic Bank Ghana Limited. Prior to this role he held various roles within the bank – including Head of Agriculture and Head of Products between 2012 and 2015. Prior to joining Stanbic Bank, he started his banking career with Standard Chartered Bank, having been recruited onto the bank’s flagship International Graduate Associate Program. The programme took him through rotations in various parts of the bank for 2 years. It also included international assignments with associates from other countries, and international residential programs. After the programme, he took on various roles within Standard Chartered Bank – Credit Analyst, Product Manager and Credit Manager, until 2012 when he moved to Stanbic Bank. Prior to banking, Jaleel worked briefly with a cement manufacturing company in Ghana, where he oversaw internal environmental and safety audits; prepared job procedures for technical roles in the company; and was part of a team of two (2) that led the company to achieving an ISO14001 certification. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology; an MSc in Development Finance from the University of Ghana; and is a charter holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute.

Gifty is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers Ghana. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) Degree in Business Administration (Banking and Finance) from the University of Ghana Business School and a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from the Methodist University College of Ghana. She has over 14 years of experience in Banking and Finance. She joined Procredit Savings and Loans Ltd. as a Corporate Loan Officer with the responsibility for relationship banking and portfolio management in 2006. In 2007, she joined Express Savings and Loans Ltd at its inception, as a Relationship Manager, and then became a Branch Manager and the Credit Risk Manager in 2010. In 2013, she moved to Best Point Savings and Loans Ltd as the pioneer Head of Credit and Marketing Department, and subsequently became the Head of Credit. In 2019, she became the Head of Banking Operations, where she managed and supervised all operational activities in the institution including Electronic Banking. Dorothy is a legal practitioner with over 20 years of experience in providing end-to-end legal advisory, regulatory, compliance, corporate governance, company secretarial services. She routinely provides transactional support in the financial services industry and other sectors of the Ghanaian economy. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) degree from the University of Ghana, Legon and a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Corporate and Commercial Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She also holds a certificate in Financial Regulations from the Securities and Investment Institute, London, and is a member of the International Division of the Law Society, UK. Dorothy served as the immediate past Managing Partner at the Accra office of Templars, a law firm headquartered in Nigeria. Prior to this, she was a Senior Associate at Oxford & Beaumont (now ENSafrica) Ghana, and later the Chief Legal, Risk and Compliance Officer at Prudential Life Insurance Ghana where she led the group’s expansion into key markets in Eastern and Southern Africa. Dorothy has considerable international exposure, having worked with one the world’s leading banks, Standard Chartered PLC at its Accra, London, and Dubai offices in various capacities within Consumer Banking, Legal and Compliance. Tarek Mouganie is a Ghanaian entrepreneur, driven by the mission of generating a positive impact in Africa. Tarek founded Affinity Africa, a digital banking platform that provides affordable and accessible services for unbanked and underserved individuals and MSMEs. Under his leadership, Affinity Africa has significantly impacted financial inclusion in the region, with 65% of its customers previously unbanked, and over 60% being women operating in the informal sector. Tarek earned an engineering degree from Imperial College London a PhD in Physics from the University of Cambridge.
